Kathy Walburn

ECSC President

Kathy Walburn has been singing since kindergarten, beginning with school productions and then moving on to church choirs and the Griswold Players Community Chorus. She joined the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Chorus in 1997. Kathy was nominated to the chorus board and became Secretary in 2002. After serving a few years, she was appointed as Vice President in 2010 and voted in as the President of the ECSC Board in 2013. Her duties also include ordering music, producing concerts and maintaining the chorus archives.

Kathy lives in New London and volunteers as a commissioner on the New London Port Authority, is outreach coordinator for Friends of the Office of State Archaeology (FOSA) and a member of the New London Currach Rowers. Kathy has a BA in Anthropology from the University of Rhode Island, and is a producer/account director for A/V studio services in Old Lyme, CT.
