Year you joined the ECSO: 1995

Before graduating from the University of Connecticut in 1992, I began working with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Paul Phillips. Subsequently, I went on to play with many ensembles throughout Connecticut including The Mystic River Chorale, Con Brio, and the New Britain Symphony Orchestra. I also spent 10 years in summer residency for the Connecticut Repertory Theatre at UCONN. Aside from musical endeavors , I am an elementary educator of 20 plus years in Stafford, CT.

My favorite musical memory was playing Ein Heldenleben by Strauss here with Toshi. Often considered the near impossible bass part, it was a great satisfaction to perform this work after years and years of study.
