Daniel Brandl is currently the Executive Coordinator for the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra and the Music Director for the First United Methodist Church Mystic. He has served as an Artistic Instructor at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts High School and as the Resident Music Director for the Spirit of Broadway Theater and Chestnut Street Playhouse in Norwich. Daniel is also an in demand pianist and accompanist performing throughout the tri-state area. He received a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Western Connecticut State University and an Arts Administration Graduate Certificate from the University of Connecticut. In 2019, Daniel was awarded the Elizabeth L. Mahaffey Arts Administration Fellowship. He currently serves as a Board member of the La Grua Center in Stonington. He is dedicated to the belief that arts, education, and the pursuit of knowledge, can help transform the community for the better and have a lasting effect on future generations. He lives in Stonington Borough with his wife, Kathryn, and their two children.
